Posting this here in the interest of disclosure and the hope it will make acceptance more likely :wink:

I’m not sure everyone knows how much Chris does behind the scenes with updating the site and keeping it running smoothly (not to mention contributions to the prize fund), but it’s a lot.

I’d like it if he’d accept the return of this month’s prize money and put it towards something for his family. Maybe a takeaway meal, or an outing somewhere?

We wouldn’t have this site without his time and effort, so it would be great if he’d accept a small thank-you gesture from our captioning community.

Likewise, people are probably unaware of how much time and effort James and several others have put into caption.me over the last few years, privately helping me design and test new features, keeping an eye on the fairness of the competition, and funding the cash prizes.
