I’ll probably do away with this and move the content onto the forum one day

Thanks, good idea. It doesn’t bother me but I’m not seeing the question mark button next to the quota. I only mention it in case it’s the same for others.

Should be fixed now @Dot_Old. I also fixed an issue that was causing blank profile pages to be shown for new users with no captions/comments/etc.

One thing that has emerged from the new quota explanations is that we’re giving a finder point bonus to comment and suggested edit quotas. That doesn’t seem right to me, so I think I’ll modify the calculation such that only caption quotas get the FP bonus.

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t think caption.me has attributed forum posts to caption.me users properly since we upgraded the forum software a few years ago.

I’ve put in a fix for this and hopefully my count of forum posts should now be 1…

I’m replying just to see what will happen. My all-time figure is 77, which does seem a little low, so we’ll see whether it increments as well as the “this week” figure.

“All time” has now incremented to 78, but “this week” remains at zero. Mind you, I think it was just blank before.

“All time” is now 79, and “this week” is 1 - so it appears to be counting from zero rather than from 1, as well-behaved computer programs do unless told otherwise!

Ah… I have found why it was showing “1” forum post for you - the stats are deliberately out of date by up to fifteen minutes. This delay was designed to protect the anonymity of captions.

So within the next 15 minutes you should see the correct number of forum posts listed on your profile.
