A slightly quieter week for votes, with **943** cast (1,081 last week), but more people joined in: **682 captions from 47 captioneers** , up from 44. ## Caption Champion @Al_Overy finishes top again, on **119 votes from just 21 captions**. It was a very complete week: he wrote the week’s top caption, had the best ratio, and won more photos than anyone (all below). @Stephen_Bean is second on **100** , and @James_Lennox third on **92** from only 20 captions. ## Top Captions > **[I put on several pounds after eating this.](https://www.caption.me/869720)** > > Al Overy, 09/10/26 8:01pm 25 votes · @Al_Overy > **["Sorry to announce that the train to Croydon has been delayed due to wet...](https://www.caption.me/869978)** > > Mark England, 11/10/26 12:06pm 21 votes · @Mark_England > **[Put your money where your mouth is.](https://www.caption.me/869719)** > > alexandra ball, 09/10/26 8:01pm 20 votes · @alexandra_ball That photo was a good one: Al’s and alexandra’s captions finished first and second on it, and @Karen_McDonald’s third-placed caption took 18 too. Al also tied alexandra on 20 with another caption, so he had four of the week’s top seven. ## Quality Award **@Al_Overy, with 5.67 votes per caption** across 21 captions. **@James_Lennox** is close behind with 4.60 from 20, and **@Mark_England** has 3.14 from 14. ## Most #1 Captions @Al_Overy won **five** photos. @John_Llamas won **four** , on his way to 4th place on the leaderboard, and @James_Lennox won three. @Stephen_Bean and @Tony_S won two each. ## Community Spirit **@Karyn_Harrison** was the week’s #1 finder, with **41 finder points from 19 discoveries** , and placed 43 votes. **@Hercules_Rockefeller** placed 45 and was #3 finder, with 16 points from just 5 discoveries. Thanks, everyone, and good luck with the new week. The photos are already up.
